sonoma and west marin road trip

This is my first attempt at sharing my love of travel, food, nature, and exploration with the blogging world. For my first post, I would like to share with you a place that I visited with my parents on our last local road trip, as a remembrance to my father who recently passed away: Freestone, California. A tiny rural town nestled in Sonoma County, Freestone has a surprisingly bohemian spirit--from an organic garden to a brick oven bakery, the town (if you could even call it that) exudes forward thinking and down to earth-ness simultaneously. This little road trip also included stops at organic strawberry stands in Petaluma, a walk around the small town of Occidental, and exploring the golden rolling hills and farms in West Marin.
